About Greencastle
A Scottish-Irish American named Ephraim Dukes founded Greencastle, Indiana in 1821. He named the city after his hometown of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. The city is located between Terra Haute and Indianapolis and is the county seat for Putnam County.

Greencastle will be hosting its first annual Buzzard Run and Road Kill Dinner. The Buzzard runs consists of a motorcycle ride during which teams are required to figure out clues to find an item and then either take a picture of the item or take the item itself. Points are given out for each clue that is figured out and then the one with the most points wins. The Road Kill Dinner is a catered dinner complete with fine china and real crystal.
