About Pendleton
Pendleton, Indiana is located in Madison County with a population of 3,783. The history of Pendleton begins with John Rogers, the first non-native settler, who built his home near the Falls of Fall Creek.

The Fall Creek Massacre was the name of the brutal murder of a peaceful group of Seneca and Miami Indians that occurred in Pendleton in 1824.
