Worcester Town - Town Justice Court

About Worcester
Formed in 1797, the town of Worcester was one of those communities that popped up after the American Revolution. Early settler Silas Crippen built the town's first grist mill and saw mill and gave the town its first family name. The name of Garfield is also prominent in the town history books as the great grandfather of the US President of the same name.

Created from the town of Cherry Valley, Worcester later gave its territory to form the towns of Decatur, Maryland and Westford. The East Worcester Fish n Game Club is known to locals as "The Lake" and hosts the main social events for the town.
